Have You Tried Any of the biscuit brands below??Human tend to be creatures of habit. We eat the same foods, shop for clothes at the same places and mostly go out to eat at the same restaurants. Every so often though, we crave something different; in my case, it was biscuits. Tired of Rich Teas and Fox’s Biscuits, I stood at my local supermarket’s biscuit aisle and glanced around for something exotic to try.
Percy’s Nutty Biscuit Thins
These biscuits were all right. They weren’t terrible, they weren’t the type I’d normally go for. They weren’t as sweet as the biscuits I normally have and although my body thanked me for them, my tastebuds didn’t. It did, however, have an appropriate amount of cocoa and the almonds on top are a nice touch. Didn’t add anything by way of flavour but nice nonetheless.
Border Lemon Drizzle Melts
These biscuits are amazing! Where to begin? They were both buttery and crumbly at the same time. The chocolate starts to melt as soon as you hold the biscuit and the lemon flavour comes through with every chew that you take. The sad thing is that it’s only packed with nine biscuits, making sharing tough!
I was looking for the ultimate in luxuriousness and found them in Godiva. Chocolatiers since 1926, Godiva masterpieces are the ultimate in opulence. It has a milk chocolate top that goes incredibly well with the biscuit underneath. The biscuits are individually wrapped to preserve its quality and I suppose to stop you opening so many. didn’t work with me, I opened as many as I could! The downside to these biscuits is that not only are they quite small, the box is also quite expensive. Value for money? No. Good enough for a treat every once in a while? Yes!
