And just like that, Summer is upon us. I say upon us but in reality I see no sun apart from some rays here and there. Nethertheless, I’m making do with what I have and as soon as I saw a little bit of sunshine yesterday, I hurried to my wardrobe and picked this little number from New Look.
I’ve actually had this linen blend dress for a few months now but you can still get it online as it’s from their Spring clothing. The dress is from Rochelle Humes’ (of girl band The Saturdays) collection that she’s been designing for for a few years now.
If you like the look of the dress, you’re in luck! I purchased it for £27.00 GBP but it’s currently on sale for £13.99 GBP which is a bargain in my eyes, especially because I’m a collector of tea dresses… what can I say, I like the milkmaid look!
If you like the style of the dress but are either not a fan on New Look, can’t stand Rochelle Humes or quite simply just fancy something different then consider the following:
The green dress from Glamorous is cute and the bow cut is slightly smaller, thus avoiding the need to wear a particular type of bra, which is something you need to do with the dress from New Look.
Such a cute, light and flirty deserves to be paired up with the right type of shoes and I think these Whitney Beige Espadrille Wedges from Topshop do the job quite well, don’t you? They’re priced at £39.99 and also come in Metallic Gold and Rust. Oh, and they’re real leather, what’s not to like?
The beauty of tea dresses is that you can either dress them up or down and I also think that they’ll go with something less high and casual, something like these sandals from Schuh at £21.99 GBP.
The jewellery was also bought a Topshop but a long while ago.Whilst you can’t get those pieces anymore, you can get the stacking rings from Etsy for £25.00 GBP and the three-strand necklace from H&M for £6.99.
So if you’re still shopping for summer dresses, consider this dress.
Are you a fan of tea dresses? What would you add to the outfit?
Till next time,
